Cocktail Party Caps a Year of Celebration for Murray Hill, NJ Employees
"Bard is good at many things, but I think one of the primary reasons we’ve thrived for 100 years is that we’re especially successful at hiring and retaining talented people," Chairman and CEO Tim Ring told 300 employees and guests at the Hilton Short Hills on November 2nd. "Whether you’ve been with Bard one day or 41 years, you have contributed to our success."
The party was the culmination of a year of celebration for C. R. Bard, Inc., as employees from the Murray Hill, NJ office and their guests had a chance to enjoy good food and friendship.
A slide show highlighted Murray Hill's 19 contributions to the 100 Acts of Kindness project, and there was even a surprise guest and link to the past: former CEO George Maloney (below, left, with Tim Ring), a familiar face to many given that almost half of the Murray Hill-based employees have been with the company for 10 or more years, almost a quarter for 20 or more years.
In the end, the party was a rare opportunity to gather as a group outside of the office, and a great way to kick off the next 100 years.
